The Sony WH-1000XM4 wireless headphones combine industry-leading noise cancelling with exceptional sound. Dual noise sensor technology — two microphones on each earcup — feeds ambient noise data to the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1, which applies noise cancelling in real time, sensing and adjusting over 700 times per second. From airplane engines to office chatter, distractions fade away.
Sound is equally impressive: 40mm drivers deliver deep bass and clear highs across a 4Hz–40,000Hz range, LDAC transmits approximately three times more data than standard Bluetooth for near High-Resolution Audio quality, and DSEE Extreme upscales compressed music files using AI.
Smart features adapt to you. Speak-to-Chat automatically pauses music when you start talking; Adaptive Sound Control adjusts ambient sound to your activity and location; wearing detection pauses playback when you remove the headphones. Touch sensor controls on the right earcup handle volume, tracks and calls, and voice assistants (Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri) are built in.
Five built-in microphones with Precise Voice Pickup technology capture your voice clearly for hands-free calls. Multipoint connection pairs two Bluetooth devices at once, and Bluetooth 5.0 keeps the link stable up to 10m.
Battery life is up to 30 hours with noise cancelling on (38 hours off), and a 10-minute quick charge adds 5 hours of playback. At 254g with soft memory-foam earpads and a foldable design, they're comfortable all day. The box includes a carry case, USB-C charging cable, 1.2m headphone cable and in-flight adapter.
