Description
The Nikon Z7 II Mirrorless Camera Body is the full-frame mirrorless camera for photographers who sweat every little detail. Its ultra-high-resolution 45.7-megapixel backside-illuminated CMOS sensor - with no optical low-pass filter - earned an overall DXOMark sensor score of 100, delivering practically class-leading colour depth and dynamic range from ISO 64 to 25,600.
For the first time in a Nikon camera, not one but two Expeed 6 processing engines work together for faster image processing, more buffer capacity and more overall speed. Catch decisive moments at 10 frames per second in full-resolution RAW or JPEG with full AE/AF tracking, and lock onto subjects with the 493-point Hybrid AF system featuring improved low-light performance down to -3 EV and enhanced Eye-Detection AF for humans, dogs and cats.
Video benefits from the same superb image quality: record 4K Ultra HD at 60p, 30p, 25p or 24p, or create silky slow-motion sequences with 120p Full HD. Output 10-bit N-Log or HDR (HLG) to an external recorder for maximum grading flexibility.
Two card slots give you options: one accepts CFexpress (Type B) and XQD cards, the other accepts standard SD cards - use them for overflow, backup or separating RAW and JPEG files. Powerful 5-axis in-body VR image stabilisation delivers up to five stops of correction for tack-sharp handheld images.
The magnesium-alloy body is tough and weather-ready, with a deep grip, an advanced 3.6M-dot EVF with minimal blackout during high-speed shooting, and compatibility with the MB-N11 pro vertical grip. Create in-camera with multiple exposures, focus-shift shooting, 900-second long exposures and interval time-lapse movies, then share wirelessly with the SnapBridge app.
