Speed is the headline: capture JPEGs at up to 120 frames per second, RAW files at up to 20 fps with a 1000+ shot buffer, and freeze the fastest action with shutter speeds up to 1/16,000 of a second. The high-performance electronic shutter works silently with no vibration, and Pre-Release Capture records the moments before you fully press the shutter - in C30, C60 and C120 modes - so the shot you almost missed becomes the shot you got.

Rock-steady image stabilisation is built in - a 5-axis system delivering up to 8 stops of vibration reduction, with Focus Point VR prioritising stabilisation at the active focus point for sharper results.
