The Nikon Z30 is a compact DX-format mirrorless camera built for vloggers and content creators, paired here with the versatile NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR kit lens. Its 20.9-megapixel CMOS sensor (23.5 x 15.7 mm) captures sharp stills and oversampled 4K UHD video at up to 30p, with Full HD recording up to 120p for smooth slow motion.
Designed for self-recording, the Z30 features a 3-inch vari-angle TFT touch LCD with a wide 170-degree viewing angle, a tally lamp that shows when you are recording, and dedicated still/movie mode switching. Nikon's Eye-Detection AF and Animal-Detection AF keep subjects in focus automatically, while in-camera Vibration Reduction in the kit lens steadies handheld shots.
Connectivity is built for creators: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth pair with the SnapBridge app for instant transfers to a smartphone, and the camera can be powered or charged over USB. It records to SD, SDHC and SDXC cards (UHS-I), uses the EN-EL25 rechargeable Li-ion battery, and supports the full range of NIKKOR Z lenses via the Nikon Z mount.
