Description
The NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S is an S-Line prime lens for Nikon Z mount mirrorless cameras - one of the first three lenses announced for the Z system, engineered to redefine what an f/1.8 lens can do. The larger Z mount and shorter flange distance deliver incredible rendering performance with sharp images even to the extreme corners.
The fast f/1.8 maximum aperture (f/16 minimum) excels in low light and renders beautiful background blur. The optical design uses 11 elements in 9 groups including 2 ED glass elements and 3 aspherical elements, with Nano Crystal Coat and Super Integrated Coating to suppress flare and ghosting. A 9-blade rounded diaphragm, 63-degree angle of view (FX), 0.25m minimum focus distance and 0.19x maximum reproduction ratio make it versatile for street, landscape, portrait and night photography.
Rear focusing with autofocus and manual focus modes, a dust and weather-resistant build, 62mm screw-in filter thread, and compact dimensions of 73 x 86mm at just 370g complete this professional everyday prime - an ideal single-lens companion for Nikon Z full-frame cameras.
