Description
The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 is an ultra-compact prime lens for Nikon Z mount mirrorless cameras - a mighty little snapshooter for walks with your camera and everyday inspiration. One of the smallest and lightest Z primes, it measures just 43mm long and weighs about 155g, so you will forget it is even there.
The classic 28mm focal length gives a wide, natural view (75 degrees on FX, 53 degrees on DX) ideal for candid street work, landscapes and group portraits. The fast f/2.8 maximum aperture (f/16 minimum) delivers shallow depth of field with pleasing bokeh and strong low-light capability. Its optical formula uses 9 elements in 8 groups with 2 aspherical elements for next-level Z image quality, a 7-blade diaphragm, and a minimum focus distance of just 0.19m with 0.2x maximum reproduction ratio for dynamic close-ups of food, crafts and details.
Dual stepping motors drive fast, quiet autofocus, the multi-focusing system keeps rendering natural across the entire shooting range, and dust and drip-resistant construction plus an assignable control ring make it a confident everyday companion. 52mm screw-in filter thread; compatible with FX and DX Nikon Z cameras.
