Description
The Nikon FTZ Mount Adapter lets you use NIKKOR F-mount DSLR lenses on Nikon Z series mirrorless cameras. It recreates the flange distance of an F-mount DSLR so that compatible F-mount lenses focus and expose as expected on a Z body - a straightforward way to keep using the lenses you already own when moving to mirrorless.
Nikon notes that the adapter works with approximately 360 NIKKOR F lenses from AI type onwards, retaining image quality, autofocus performance and weather sealing. Full autofocus and auto-exposure are supported when using FX or DX AF-S Type G/D/E, AF-P Type G/E, AF-I Type D lenses and AF-S/AF-I teleconverters.
The original FTZ includes an integrated 1/4-inch tripod socket on its base for balanced support of longer, heavier lenses on a tripod, and its weather-sealed construction matches the physical characteristics of Nikon Z series cameras.
